At Roots to Wellbeing, we believe every child deserves the chance to play, learn and thrive during the school holidays. Our Holiday & SEND Clubs are specially designed to support children and young people with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND), as well as those who may need a little extra help to join in.
Inclusive activities – from nature walks and outdoor play to creative arts, sensory sessions, movement and mindfulness.
Trained staff & volunteers – our team is experienced in supporting children with a wide range of needs, making sure every child feels safe and valued.
Small, supportive groups – with a focus on building confidence, friendships and wellbeing.
Family support – where possible, we involve parents and carers so families feel part of our community too.
Our clubs are open to children and young people with SEND and additional needs. We also welcome siblings, so the whole family can benefit.
Some places are funded through Essex ActivAte (supported by Essex County Council and Active Essex), which means children eligible for benefit-based free school meals or from low-income families may be able to attend free of charge.
We run our Holiday & SEND Clubs at community venues across Harlow (including Harlow Town Park Learning Centre). Sessions usually take place during the school holidays and are adapted for different levels of support.
Booking is essential as spaces are limited. To register your interest or find out about upcoming holiday clubs, please get in touch with us using the link below.
