Nordic Walking has enabled me to get outdoors, exercise, improve my posture and meet new people in friendly groups.
Nordic walking has helped to ground me mentally, being in and observing nature has helped reduce my anxiety. I have also noticed considerable improvement to my respiratory (breathing) ability since starting the walks
I have personally found the Nordic Walks extremely beneficial! Particularly in helping me to build the muscles and strength necessary for recovery from a sports injury to my knee. The walks are always in areas of natural beauty and never boring as there is always something to see. Thankyou for your support Tara and Roots to Wellbeing
The groups have given me the opportunity to socialise, being ‘myself’ again after being unwell, feeling accepted and included whilst in a calming environment.
